Professional Experience

Elite stylist, artist and owner of Marion’s Hair Connections, Marion Brand is an industry mentoring photographer with a green thumb. Her styling talents began at a young age and flourished quite a bit more while enrolled at Luella and Porter School of Beauty.

After Leulla and Porter, Marion followed the influence of fashion trend setters such as Vidal Sassoon and Beth Minardi. Beyond becoming a salon owner in 1993, Marion made her mark on the hair care world by pursuing and earning certifications and advanced training in Matrix Color and Corrective Color, Beth Minardi coloring techniques, and Martin Parson’s up-dos. Most recently, she formed a relationship with REDKEN that grants her and her stylist team access and in depth training from the leaders in hair care.

Marion’s expert level artistic talent and Chemist-like accuracy in color technique are nothing in comparison to the teaching aspect of her career. The Associate Stylist program at Marion’s Hair Connections allows her to bring in fresh talent and, using a hands-on approach, sculpt them in the trend setters and premiere stylist of the future. Her love of teaching doesn’t end with her team, Marion also seeks to educate her clients and the community on how to maximize their look, taking into account their individual needs and style.
